EXHIBITOR LEADCAPTURE APP

We’re excited to roll out our new LeadCapture App powered by Cvent, this is an app on your phone or tablet that will allow exhibitors to scan attendees, lead score them, leave notes, and download a report.

Exhibitors can use personalized QR codes to check attendees into their booths. Each check-in is registered in your booth report in real time, so that you always have a pulse on what’s happening in your booth.

And there’s more: Exhibitors are able to label attendees in the app while checking them in; identify them as cold, warm or hot leads; then add accompanying notes to the attendee’s lead profile. This information also will be available in a report that you can download.

THIS IS A COMPLETELY SEPARATE APP FROM THE ATTENDEE EVENT APP. YOU CANNOT ACCESS A REPORT OF SCANNED ATTENDEES FROM THE ATTENDEE APP.

GETTING ACCESS TO THE LEADCAPTURE APP

Step 1 – Receive an email with an access code

  • The person chosen to be designated the lead capture license should have received an email with their access code to log into the LeadCapture app.
  • If this was not received please email lauren.francis@greenblue.org

Step 2 – Download the app

  • Download the Cvent LeadCapture app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  • Open the app, then enter the access code and tap Next, then Yes, Activate Device.

NOTE: Your access code is a one time use code on one device. Once your access code has been used, it cannot be transferred or used again to log in on another device.

HOW TO SCAN AND QUALIFY LEADS

Option 1: Scan the Attendee’s Badge

  • Open the LeadCapture app.
  • Tap Add Lead in the center of the screen. If prompted, tap OK to allow the app to access your camera or the attached scanner.
  • Scan the lead’s QR code on their name badge.

Option 2: Enter Manually

  • Open the LeadCapture app.
  • If the lead isn’t wearing a badge, add their information by tapping Add Lead. Then tap Camera at the bottom of the device to open more input method options. Tap Enter Manually.
  • Qualify the lead, if necessary. Tap Qualify Lead to answer additional questions or add notes.

SYNCING AND EXPORTING LEADS

Sync Your Leads

  • After the event, ensure you connect the device to Wi-Fi to sync all of the leads to the server. If leads are not synced, your exhibitor admin will not be able to export the leads you collected. Verify that the leads have synced by checking the home screen.

Export Your Leads Post Event

  • Log in to the portal on your computer. Find the Thank You email that was sent to you once the conference ended. Click Log In and enter your credentials. If you don’t remember your password, click Forgot your password? and proceed with creating a new one.
    NOTE: Can’t find your email? Use this link to log into the portal.
  • Export your leads. The number of leads collected will appear in the Insights section on the Overview page. Click View leads.
  • You will be brought to the Report Data Settings. Select the fields you want to add to the file.
  • In the File Information section, select the file type. Then click Export.
  • Your leads will automatically download.
