This global event will bring together key stakeholders from developing and industrialized countries through UNIDO’s Leadership and the food and packaging value chain through GreenBlue’s networking and membership. In addition, FH Campus Wien, Packforce Austria, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the World Packaging Organization (WPO) are knowledge partners of the event. This unique opportunity to bring together perspective from around the world, will highlight Vienna’s role in Europe as a leader in packaging sustainability, global development and will help showcase Vienna’s unique attributes as a hosting city.

This How2Recycle Summit will once again be co-located with SPC Advance, taking place the day after in San Diego. In this working group style summit, we will discuss recent updates from the How2Recycle team as well as dive into consumer and policy driven changes as recyclability continues to be redefined.

For SPC Impact 2027, the Sustainable Packaging Coalition will return to the pacific northwest, this time to Portland, Oregon. Hosting SPC for the first time, join us in exploring what Portland has to offer with sustainability initiatives growing throughout the region, and the state of Oregon being at the forefront of EPR in the US.

SPC Advance 2027 will take us to the good land of Milwaukee, WI, where a number of our valued members call home. Join us at the newly renovated Baird Center as we continue to explore of shifts in policy, and utilizing relationships and partnerships to adapt to the evolving sustainable packaging landscape.
