OVERVIEW
-
Workshops deep dive into detail on various topics relating to recycling and packaging in an interactive manner (can include activities, etc.). Workshops vary in length, so please refer to the Session Introduction email you received from Barbara Fowler for the exact duration of your session.
RECOMMENDATIONS TO PREPARE
-
Prepare the main points you’d like to make in your presentation and identify how the topic of your workshop can be applicable to advance recycling.
-
Create the visual aids based on the content of the workshop (as opposed to basing your content on the visual aids).
-
If you would like to include a video, it needs to be no longer than 1 minute and match the style of the workshop.
-
Fact check any detail or claim that relies on external information. This can take the shape of something like a quote, anything with a number (dates, statistics, estimates, etc.), references to research, the findings of a study or a survey, and pretty much all general claims. Basically, if it can be checked, it should be checked.
SLIDES
-
You have the option of including slides for your Workshop. Please read through the instructions for preparing slides and submitting them on the Slides tab.
