Sonia Ventosa is a purpose-driven leader whose career bridges sustainability, corporate reputation, and leadership across borders.

A Spanish national based in Casablanca, she is currently Group Director of Sustainability, Public Affairs & Communications at Equatorial Coca-Cola Bottling Company (ECCBC). She oversees ESG and reputation strategies across 13 countries in North and West Africa, where ECCBC employs over 5,000 people directly and supports more than 30,000 through its value chain.

Sonia believes in the power of business to drive positive change. Over the past eight years, she has shaped ECCBC’s sustainability vision, strengthened stakeholder engagement, and helped embed ESG into the company’s core operations.

Before joining ECCBC, Sonia held key roles in communications and organizational culture. At Brico Dépôt Iberia (Kingfisher Group), she led internal communications and branding initiatives that aligned people and purpose. Earlier consulting experiences deepened her expertise in leadership development, employee engagement, and cultural transformation – skills that continue to shape her strategic approach today.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Barcelona, and has completed executive education at ESADE, Harvard Business School, and the University of Cambridge (CISL).

Since 2022, Sonia has also served as President of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Casablanca, supporting stronger business ties between Spain and Morocco.
