Paul Bahou is the President of Global Plastics Recycling, a PET washline reclaimer based out of Perris, CA. His career in recycling began at the age of fifteen, where he sorted bottles at his family business and learned about the industry from the ground up. After getting his BA in political science, he worked in grants and government affairs before moving into sales and purchasing. Today Paul spends his time running his business with his father Nadim and brother Daniel between four facilities, where they have a vertically integrated operation which not only processes recycled PET bottles into thermoform packages, but also helps brands with scrap handling, product destruction and assistance navigating the ever-shifting legal framework and markets of the recycling industry. He will also talk to you about music for hours if you let him.
