Juan Pablo is a Manager in Systemiq’s Circular Materials practice, based in London. For the past two years he has partnered with the Global Plastic Action Partnership to develop national action roadmaps to end plastic pollution across 25 countries in Latin America, Africa, and South and Southeast Asia. Each roadmap sets out a national vision for transitioning to circular plastics systems, defining the interventions required and the coordinated actions needed from government, industry, and civil society. Extended Producer Responsibility is a central policy instrument in this work.
Before joining Systemiq, he worked as a management consultant in Mexico, advising food, consumer goods, and pharmaceutical companies across Latin America on packaging circularity and commercial strategy.
