As Vice President of Stewardship for Georgia-Pacific, David leads the company’s overall stewardship strategy. He works across the organization to develop and implement sustainability initiatives that build trust, address environmental and forest impacts, and advocate for policy frameworks grounded in both environmental integrity and economic realities. He also fosters collaborative partnerships with customers and stakeholders to manage risk and unlock opportunity. 

David joined Georgia-Pacific in 2013 to accelerate the company’s efforts to strengthen responsible sourcing and environmental performance. Since then, he has held roles spanning sustainability, forestry, strategy, policy, customer engagement, and marketing across multiple businesses and capabilities. 

A native of Ohio, David, holds a Master of Business Administration from Kennesaw State University and a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources Management from The Ohio State University. He is a Registered Forester and serves on the Board of Trustees for the Chattahoochee Nature Center and as Co-Chair of the Society of American Foresters’ Education Policy Review Committee. He is passionate about conservation and connecting people to nature.
