Christa Rust is Executive Director of Multi-Material Stewardship Manitoba (MMSM), a Producer Responsibility Organization (PRO) responsible for overseeing Manitoba’s residential recycling program. She works with producers, governments, municipalities, Indigenous communities, and service providers to advance circular economy outcomes and improve materials recovery systems. With two decades of experience in sustainability, environmental stewardship, and stakeholder engagement, Christa is recognized for building collaborative partnerships and leading the transition to producer responsibility frameworks that deliver measurable environmental and economic benefits.
