Erin Levine has spent the past 20 years advancing resource recovery in California and beyond. She began her career organizing collection and drop-off events for large-scale electronic waste generators, before shifting her focus to organic materials management. For over a decade, she supported commercial compost facilities across the West Coast and worked closely with compost end users.
Erin then transitioned to become the Resource Recovery Manager at World Centric, a leading manufacturer of certified compostable food service ware. While there she served on California s SB 54 Advisory Board, representing compostable product manufacturers and helped to shape statewide packaging policy.
She now is a Senior Planner specializing in Solid Waste and Organics at HDR, where she consults on Extended Producer Responsibility programs and organics management strategies.
Erin holds a B.A. in Liberal and Civic Studies from Saint Mary’s College and is a Certified Composting Professional through the US Composting Council.
