Annemarie is Senior Expert Design for Recycling at Fost Plus, where she has led the Design for Recycling project for the Belgian packaging industry since June 2021. Her mission: help the sector achieve its ambitious goal of making all household packaging recyclable or reusable by the end of 2025.
She advises member companies on improving packaging recyclability in line with Belgium’s current sorting and recycling capabilities—while ensuring designs are future-proof under the upcoming Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR).
Before joining Fost Plus, Annemarie spent 15 years in technical-commercial and business development roles with leading flexible packaging converters including Amcor, Huhtamaki, and Bemis.”
