Dylan de Thomas heads up state policy advocacy at The Recycling Partnership, as well as supporting policy strategy and implementation for the organization. While leading that work, Dylan has been a part of negotiation of and driving for the passage of EPR for packaging laws across the country, particularly in Oregon, California, Colorado, Minnesota, and Washington State. Dylan is also active around recycling policy implementation in his home state of Oregon, having chaired the state’s Truth In Labeling Task Force and is currently serving on the state’s Recycling Advisory Council as it works to advise the implementation of Oregon’s EPR law, the Recycling Modernization Act. Previous to joining the Partnership, Dylan worked for Resource Recycling for a decade, directing and producing content for three publications and three conferences covering different aspects of the recycling industry.
